Carolyn M Cash is a freelance writer residing in the Sutherland Shire (aka God's Own Country), Sydney, Australia, whilst studying Certificate IV in Radio Broadcasting at Petersham TAFE.
Previous publishing credits include The Daily Telegraph, Australian Paper Crafts, The St George & Sutherland Shire Leader, Southern Cross, Writers Voice and Free XpresSion.
Commended for article, Shock Royal Wedding!, in the 2000 Free XpresSion Literary Competition.
Currently writing two novels - a historical novel, Peers of the Realm (undergoing editing), set during 17th Century England (including the Civil War). The second is set in the airline industry.
Graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts degree (History and English Majors) in 2001 and completed the Diploma of Freelance Journalism in 1997 at the Australian College of Journalism.
Other activities include Regional Secretary for the Sutherland Shire Fellowship of Australian Writers [FAW] from 2000 to 2007, Committee Member on the FAW State Council from 2007, and volunteer at Radio 2SSR-FM (writing news and community service announcements).
Enjoys reading History books (including biographies) especially on European royalty - both past and present.
Interests include history, royalty, creative writing, reading, photography, movies, theatre, social tennis, travel, aviation, sewing, stamping and papercraft activities.
